This quote is basically saying their is always something going on around you and you may not realize it.
"Always be true to your friends, just as you are to yourself."
This means that you should never turn your back on someone, because at one point they were all you had.
"Some people wan't it to happen, some wish it would happen, while others make it happen."
This mean that anything is possible. You just need to put in the effort to make it happen.
